Gone fishing!

It's my second day off today. Tomorrow will be another early morning flight. But, here I am following my boyfriend out to the sea for fishing. Yeepee!

Love and hate affair

My mind seems to be hyper even it has past midnight now and as a result, here I am updating my blog.

I came back from an almost 12 hours flight from Europe this morning. Not too tired though as I was working at a breeze.

Not that I’m lazy or finding short cut working on board, I still put in my 100% fair share so as to earn a bona fide living.

I’ve learnt to work with a focus mind which indeed improve productivity and efficiency. Hence, I find myself working effortlessly most of the time. I don’t know how to elaborate more, mainly enjoy what you’re doing and don’t self-imposed stress is the key to make work more fun.

May be my brain is charged with lots of positive ions at the moment that I always appreciate my job. Never mind with all the grumbles over rigid protocol system, inhumane management style, multi-hierarchical chain of command, etc.

FOCUS is once again the keyword: To focus on the primary positive areas than to poison myself by reminding the trivial matters.

Nowhere in the working world is perfect for every one. If you know an ideal place, please leave a note to tell me.

Say It Right

Enough is enough!

Recently I came back from leave break and was surprised to get to hear that flight attendants are under the limelight again. This time is a rape case and it stirs up some crappy comments on our life style.

I don’t know what’s more to say or comment to defend ourselves from being scrutinised, harassed or attacked verbally or physically. I guess, often than not, it’s the publicity of the press.

If a rape case happened, public would automatically pity the victim who is a civilian. However, if the victim is a flight attendant, the view may vary drastically.

My non-crew friends ever asked whether the saying is true. The “by default” mentality is flight attendants sleep around, messing up with passengers, pilots or other crew.

Please do not apply a single narrowed mentality by extrapolating it. Don’t let one or two-spoiled brat stain our image and dignity.

It’s unfair!

Simple English: Secretaries don’t sleep with their bosses; nurses don’t sleep with doctors; students don’t sleep with lecturers; bus drivers don’t sleep with passengers; etc.

Given with our stress-less working environment, other than battling with our constant fatigue flying schedule, we are basically a group of mentally and physically healthy species.

Let me say it for once, not all flight attendants are leading a messy sex life.

Back to sky!

After a week long break from flying, I'm finally back to work again! What I can say is a quality time spent and happy moment to linger.

I'm all charged up and to return to work. Ever ready to smile at passengers again!
